Falck acquires Australian emergency response company Deanmac

Falck has completed the 100% acquisition of an Australian eastern states emergency response company, Deanmac Emergency Services Pty Ltd.

Deanmac has approximately 125 staff who are engaged in major contracting in the eastern part of the country, specifically in the states of Victoria and Queensland, with their head office based in Traralgon, Victoria.

Simon Paull, Chief Executive Officer of Falck Pty Ltd in Australia said:

“With Deanmac being one of the emergency response leaders based in the eastern states of Australia, with more than 25 years of experience in servicing heavy industry, major hazard facilities, critical infrastructure and the design, installation and maintenance of fixed fire systems, this is a natural fit with Falck’s existing Australian operation and provides additional skills, expertise and operational reach to our existing and potential clients.

Simon Paull continued:

“Falck is particularly interested in benefiting and utilizing the skill set of the staff that Deanmac currently employs. These are exciting times for Falck in Australia with the overall operational staff size growing from approximately 130 to 255 with the Deanmac acquisition, as we look to capitalize our joint expertise and strengthen our position in the competitive Australian marketplace.
