Falck renews ambulance contracts in Southern California
Care Ambulance, a company in the Falck Group, has recently renewed ambulance contracts with the cities of Westminster, Fullerton and Costa Mesa in Orange County, California.
The 350,000 citizens of the three cities in Southern California will continue to see Care Ambulances on the roads over the coming years and reach Care Ambulance employees when they dial 911.
The contracts in Westminster and Costa Mesa have both been won in open competition and will run for 5 years starting in September of 2018 whereas the Fullerton contract is a two-year extension of a contract to be sent to tender in 2020. A totalof 50 employeeswill provide emergency services with 10 ambulances from 8 stations in the three cities.
Troy Hagen, Regional Managing Director of Falck Ambulance in California, said:
