Falck Industrial Fire Services (IFS) have just signed a major 10-year contract in Netherlands for the emmtec Industry & Businesspark. The contract represents a significant win for IFS, being the biggest contract in the Netherlands so far. Furthermore, the contract underlines IFS Netherlands capability to deliver services not only for individual companies, but also for industrial parks with many diverse high-risk companies.
Falck Industrial Fire Services recently signed a major contract with EMMTEC services, owner and operator of the emmtec Industry & Businesspark in the city of Emmen in the Netherlands. The park houses several multinational companies such as life-science company DSM, the multinational producer of aramid-fiber Teijin Aramid and performance material company Low & Bonar - all high-risk companies specialized in processing plastics. In addition to firefighting services IFS will provide additional safety tasks as part of the contract. With this approach IFS can provide an effective and efficient emergency response organisation to protect people and business continuity of the companies on site.
“We are pleased to announce that we have an agreement with one of the large-scale chemical parks in the Netherlands. We are looking forward to a mutual beneficial partnership for the coming years”, says Tom van Nispen, Managing Director of IFS Netherlands. He continues:
“With the agreement we will deliver the consistent high-quality service that we are known for. Including, offering additional safety tasks to fully alleviate the emmtec Industry & Businesspark in all aspects of fire safety for them to focus on their core business.”
In the partnership with EMMTEC services IFS Netherlands will operate 24/7 shifts, with a core team of experienced firefighters and a location manager on-site. The partnership began the 16th of February.
