Falck Fire Services signs the first contract in Belgium

From January 1st, 2014, Falck Fire Services in Belgium will provide fire services to the nuclear power plant Electrabel which is located in Doel.

The fire brigade will provide fire-fighting and fire prevention services. It will be the 6th nuclear power plant contract for Falck Fire Services. The five other plants are located in in Spain (4) and in Sweden (1).

“We are taking over an experienced fire brigade with competent employees, and together we will improve and develop the services in compliance with customer expectations,” says Falck senior vice president Stig Tiedemann.

Falck technical director in Belgium, Martin Welten, welcomed the new employees to Falck January 1st. Together with the staff he will ensure the delivery of a high quality service in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
